Ballet For All Kids
The mission of Ballet For All Kids is to give every child the opportunity to reap the benefits of a classical ballet education, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. Developed by Bonnie Schlachte, this program teaches classical ballet by using The Schlachte Method.
This method has been extremely successful in teaching children within the Autism Spectrum, children with learning and developmental disabilities, children with anxiety disorders, behavioral issues and ADHD.
Every child has abilities that can be used as a springboard to learn new skills and enhance each child's personal sense of accomplishment. To this end, The Schlachte Method uses a wide variety of teaching methods to accommodate all styles of learning, including visual learning, auditory learning, vestibular learning and emotional intelligence.
If you are interested in more information on trying out a class or volunteering, please contact Bonnie at 805-524-5503 or email: bonnie@balletforallkids.com.
Thanks to Dance Dimensions Community, Ballet For All Kids has a very special home!

Max of A Million Dreams Foundation:
Dance Dimensions Community produced a benefit performance in December 2006 to support the "Max of a Million Dreams Foundation". This event was a huge success, raising over $5,000 and helping to increase public awareness of pediatric cancer in the local community.
