Pamela Orenstein
Studio Director; Instructor
Pamela Orenstein grew up in South Africa, a third generation performing dancer. From ages 4 to 19 she studied ballet, jazz and modern dance, earning her Royal Academy of Dance Teacher's Degree in ballet. After several years teaching in South Africa, Pamela immigrated to Los Angeles and worked in the music industry, specializing in Artist Relations, Promotions and Live Events. She returned to Dance in 1996 and has owned her own studio since 2003.
Pamela is on the Board of Directors for Los Angeles' Valley Cultural Center. She serves as the Advisor to Dance Programming and as the Chairman of Outreach Programs, charged with overseeing the creation and implementation of citywide campaigns.
In 2004 Pamela cofounded the Marshall Dance Company for the purpose of bringing exciting multicultural dance and arts education to schools and the community at large.
