Joe Giamalva
Adult Tap
Joe Giamalva brings a diversity of experience to his career as a producer, director, choreographer and teacher. From a theatrical debut at age 4, he has moved with ease between stage, theatre, nightclubs, and movies. As a performer, he has toured the world with such stars as Raquel Welch, Tony Martin and Cyd Charisse, Donnie and Marie Osmond and Cher. On Broadway he danced in "The Happy Time" with Robert Goulet as well as toured the United States in over 25 hit musicals. His movie credits include "New York, New York" starring Liza Minelli, "Sextette" with Mae West and "Mr. Saturday Night" starring Billy Crystal.

Joe toured with "Disney On Parade" for 3 years, playing the role of the star himself---Mickey Mouse. For 3 years he starred in 120 episodes of television's award winning "Welcome To Pooh Corner" and 120 episodes of "Dumbo's Circus" for the Disney Channel. Joe has participated in other shows featured on KCET, PBS, and Fox Kids Network.

Joe has produced, directed, and choreographed many musicals such as "Man Of La Mancha", "Cabaret", "Brigadoon", "Me And My Girl", "The Music Man", and most of the Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire. His commercials include work for Mattel Toys, McDonalds And Lego Toys. He has danced and choreographed in sitcoms such as "Day By Day", "Coach" and "The Nanny" starring Fran Drescher.

Currently, Joe is teaching tap dancing in Malibu and Woodland Hills, California. He owns and operates his business, Jagco Productions, which provides talent for private and corporate events. He also provides talent for costumed characters all across the United States for "Family Guy", "Lunar Jim", "Berenstein Bears" and "The Simpsons". He can be seen as the fashion expert in a just released docu-comedy called "Desperately Seeking Paul McCartney", which can be seen and purchased on Amazon.
