Ryan Lohoff
Tap
Ryan has been teaching and choreographing since the age of 14 and now travels the US and abroad spreading his knowledge and love for dance. He has choreographed award-winning routines at dance studios across the US and abroad and performed pieces for Gregg Russells tap company Tap Sounds Underground, the Miss Kansas Pageant and the Tampa Bay Tap Festival, among others.
You may have seen Ryan on the CBS program Star Search with Arsenio Hall, on FOXs 30 Seconds to Fame, and commercials for Carvel Ice Cream. Just recently, he worked with Broadway Choreographer Keith Young on the skeleton crew of the Sammy Davis Jr. musical Sammy and has recorded his tap sounds for the Disney film The Princess and the Frog as well as the demo tape for the remake of the movie Fame. He has appeared in numerous shows including industrials for both Adidas and Nike, performed at Broadway Dance Center in New York, the Buddy Epson Tribute in Los Angeles and was the Nutcracker Prince in the San Francisco Ballets Nutcracker.
Ryans true passion is teaching and choreographing. He has taught in numerous conventions including LA Dance Magic, Dance Olympus, Co Dance, 3D Dance Network Inc., OnCue LA, Global Dance Convention (Australia), The Streetz, Dance Raw, Encore, HYPE, and the Tampa Bay Tap Festival in Florida. Although known for his tap, Ryan excels in all forms of dance. Using his versatility, he infuses and creates a unique and up to date style that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat!
