Scheduling Notes:
Each class is assigned one dedicated dress rehearsal day and one performance day.
If your dancer is enrolled in multiple classes, please plan for the possibility of attending multiple rehearsals and shows. Performances are organized by age and grade, so combined-age classes may be split across different show days.

Recital Timeline:
January - February: Confirm recital participation, get measured for your costumes, and choreography begins!
March – June: Attendance is CRUCIAL in order to learn choreography and participate in the recital.
April – May: Recital T-Shirts and Personal Greetings go on sale for pre-order. Parents, friends and relatives can sign up to volunteer. Tickets go on sale!
June (Dates TBA): Dress Rehearsals at The Soraya Theater, CSUN (each class rehearses on ONE of these days)

DDPAC Recitals - Unforgettable Memories!
While participation is optional, we find that the performances are a wonderful experience that the dancers and families cherish for years. It is a culmination, and a chance to share the year’s growth with family and friends. Around 95% of our students participate. We do spend most of the year teaching technique of each class and only start introducing choreography for the show in the Spring. At that time, attendance is crucial as the instructors are teaching choreography designed for the exact amount of students and their abilities.
